Dr. McCall grew up in Leesburg, FL and is a product of Lake County Schools, and she graduated from Leesburg High School. She attended the University of Central Florida and earned a degree in Social Science Education in 2010. She then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Human Services and Family Studies, with a concentration in Youth Development/Counseling. As a diehard UCF Knight, she returned to the University of Central Florida for the final time and in 2017 earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership.

Dr. McCall followed her passion and eagerly entered the field of education. She has often been quoted as saying “education saved her life” and as a first-generation college graduate, she wanted to be a part of as many student villages as possible and give back what was once given to her . She taught middle school ESE/EBD and high school Social Studies with both Orange County Public Schools and Florida Virtual School. Following her teaching career Dr. McCall served as a District Resource Teacher/Blended Learning Specialist with Orange County Public Schools. In this role she was a part of a team who was instrumental in integrating blended learning classrooms throughout all high schools in Orange County Public Schools, impacting students who were on track for graduation. In 2017 she relocated and joined the School District of Osceola County as a College & Career Counselor at Liberty High School. After a year in this position in 2018 she was promoted to Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Liberty High School. In December 2020, she was promoted and worked as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Professional & Technical High School and helped the school earn the National Blue Ribbon Award from the U.S. Department of Education. She also works as an Adjunct Professor at Valencia College.

During her years as a high school administrator, Dr. McCall has fostered expertise in the areas of data analysis, MTSS implementation/evaluation, college & career planning and equity-based accountability models.  Dr. McCall is a change agent and transformational leader who values the unity of the school and the community. She absolutely loves having a good time with the students, positively contributing to school culture and building teacher capacity through servant leadership. She is excited to return home to Lake County Schools and serve the community that once served her as a student. She looks forward to working alongside the dedicated staff and being a resource to the students at East Ridge Middle School. 


Mr. Keith Williams, Assistant Principal, East Ridge Middle School

Mr. Williams is a seasoned educator with a wealth of experience. He grew up in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2006 with a degree in Sports and Fitness. Mr. Williams began his teaching career in St. Lucie County at Westwood High School, where he taught Driver's Education and Physical Education, and coached football and track and field. 

In 2009, he moved to Orange County to teach at Wekiva High School, where he taught Intensive Math, Algebra 1, and Geometry. During this time, Mr. Williams worked toward his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, which he completed in 2016. He then joined Maitland Middle School as their Instructional Dean in 2013.  He then moved to Gray Middle in 2015 as a 6th-grade math and physical education teacher. 

In 2021, Mr. Williams accepted the position of Grades 3-5 Math/Science Coach at Leesburg Elementary School, where he played an integral role in helping the school move from a "D" to a "C". This success led him back to Gray Middle as a member of the leadership team as an Instructional Dean. In this role, he used his math instructional knowledge to create intervention cycles for grades 6-8. 

Mr. Williams is a visionary leader with a keen sense of strategy and forward-thinking. He is thrilled to join the amazing team at East Ridge Middle School and is honored to be a Spartan.

Mrs. Aya Everett

Mrs. Everett grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She attended the University of Central Florida in 2000, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science.  In 2006, she went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University. 

 After graduating from UCF in 2004, Mrs. Everett began her teaching career at Colonial High School in Orlando, Florida. During her nine years at Colonial High School, she taught 9th-12th grade, became the AVID Site Coordinator, and the Academic and Attendance Dean.

 In 2013, Mrs. Everett went to work at the District Office in Orange County as the AVID District Coordinator overseeing the implementation of AVID in the middle and high schools.

 In 2015, Mrs. Everett joined the Professional Learning and Leadership Development Department in Lake County as a District Instructional Coach.

 Mrs. Everett is excited and feels honored to be an Assistant Principal and to work alongside the hardworking faculty and staff at East Ridge Middle School.
