Media Center

Library Media Center 

The library media center conatains academic resources for research, study and recreational reading, including more than 14,000 books, eBooks and audiobooks. Our digital resources are available remotely on student chromebooks or any device with internet access. Our collection includes new and popular titles and resources based on professional reviews, teacher, student, and community recommendations, and the unique academic needs of our school community.

The library media center is open daily from 8:50 a.m. through the end of the school day and students with teacher or administrator permission may visit any time, including lunchtime.

Tech Support

Students should bring their LCS charged Chromebook and charger with them to school daily. Does your Chromebook need repair? the media center handles broken Chromebooks and broken/lost chargers before school, during 1st period or SHIELD. Replacement devices are issued in exchange for broken and fines assessed following the district Chromebook repair fees. Chromebook fines can be paid via Revtrak on the school homepage.

Student IDs

Students are required to wear their student ID while on campus. Student IDs are used in the library and cafe'. Replacement IDs are $5, payable in cash or via Revtrak and can be obtained by visting the media center before school, during 1st period or SHIELD.

Makerspace

Our library media center has a makerspace and/or passive programming as an opportunity for students to explore, tinker, collaborate, publish and share. Activities may include collaborative art projects, puzzles or design challenges. There is always something interesting to discover in our library.
