Mrs. Nichole Moses
This will be Nichole Moses second year with the Spartan Family. Prior to joining the Spartan family, Mrs. Moses served as a Prevention Specialist for Lake County Schools. In her past role as a Prevention Specialist, she aligned prevention programs and initiatives with district policies and Florida Statutes. She has served as a district instructional coach for K-12 new teachers and a classroom management trainer. Prior to these roles, Mrs. Moses was a classroom instructor for 11 years teaching Physical Science, Earth Space Science, Physics, and all levels of Chemistry, including Advanced Placement. She has also served as Student Government Advisor and science department chair at East Ridge High School for 5 years.
Mrs. Moses commitments to understanding all aspects of education which shows in her vast amount of professional learning opportunities, her willingness to create programs to break down social, gender, castes, and ethnic barriers amongst students and staff. Mrs. Moses has served on Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Leadership Team and the District Emergency Management Team. She currently serves on the Student Code of Conduct & Policy Guide Committee, and UCF Chemistry Curriculum Alignment Board.
Mrs. Moses’ enthusiasm, love of education, and experiences are seen daily in her interactions with students, families, faculty and staff of East Ridge Middle school.

Mr. Frank E. Gomez
Mr. Gomez grew up in Miami, Florida. He attended Florida International University in Miami, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication in 2007. After answering his calling to become an educator, he earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida in 2017.
During his career in education, Mr. Gomez has taught Second Grade, Fifth Grade, and coached Physical Education, teaching at Groveland Elementary and Mascotte Elementary. During his time as a teacher, he was recognized as a teacher leader. He has served as a Grade Level Team Leader, worked with seven student-teachers from various universities, and led Mascotte Elementary’s Parent Academy.
Mr. Gomez is excited and honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at the most excellent East Ridge Middle School, go Spartans!

Mrs. Aya Everett
Mrs. Everett grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She attended the University of Central Florida in 2000, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science. In 2006, she went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University.
After graduating from UCF in 2004, Mrs. Everett began her teaching career at Colonial High School in Orlando, Florida. During her nine years at Colonial High School, she taught 9th-12th grade, became the AVID Site Coordinator, and the Academic and Attendance Dean.
In 2013, Mrs. Everett went to work at the District Office in Orange County as the AVID District Coordinator overseeing the implementation of AVID in the middle and high schools.
In 2015, Mrs. Everett joined the Professional Learning and Leadership Development Department in Lake County as a District Instructional Coach.
Mrs. Everett is excited and feels honored to be an Assistant Principal and to work alongside the hardworking faculty and staff at East Ridge Middle School.
